Haste is a founder-led brand creative studio working across Brand Strategy and Creative Direction. We close the distance between what a brand delivers and how it is perceived. We are not an agency, and we don't take orders on demand. We take briefs worth answering.
You work directly with João Serra, Founder and Creative Director. The person listening to the brief is the person shaping the strategy and directing the work. That continuity keeps the original conviction intact as it moves from an idea into the world.
We are based in Portugal and nomadic by design. The work starts where the brand lives: with its people, its product and the experience it creates. Being there gives us something a remote brief cannot: the chance to see what deserves to be expressed, and what the current image leaves out.

Marketing graduate. Permanent misfit in rooms that chose the spreadsheet over the idea.
Built Haste because I felt the gap before I could name it. An economics education sharpened by a startup programme, a marketing degree that opened the door to the industry, and an internship that made the problem impossible to ignore: creative work being consistently subordinated to metric-safe decisions, and the people with the sharpest instincts being the first ones told to fall in line.
I didn't. So I built the room I wanted to work in instead. Haste exists at the intersection of strategic discipline and creative freedom. Because the numbers and the idea are not enemies, and treating them like they are is why most brand work looks exactly like everything else.
My role is permanent creative director, part strategist, part editor, part forge operator.
What we want to build.
Haste starts with a founder-led practice. The longer ambition is to give emerging Portuguese creatives a place to develop through real briefs, close direction and work that earns its place.
That part of the studio will grow with the practice. The principle is already clear: talent develops through responsibility, useful criticism and a standard worth reaching.
